Reactivating a Blocked Ciframatic
If you should ever enter the Ciframatic PIN code incorrectly, you’ll see "FAIL 1". If you enter it incorrectly a second time, you’ll see "FAIL 2". If you enter it incorrectly a third time, you’ll see "FAIL 3". If you enter it incorrectly a fourth time, you’ll see "FAIL 4". And if you now enter it incorrectly a fifth time, you’ll see "FAIL 5". At this point, the next time you try to use your Ciframatic, you’ll see the words "LOCK" and "PIN" together with the PUK (personal unblocking key) that you must use to start using your Ciframatic again. It’s a good idea to write this number down so you don’t forget it.
